Refund policy
Refund & Cancellation Policy
At The Social Scene and Rent the Scene, we value our clients and strive to provide exceptional event planning and rental services. Because our services require advance preparation, inventory reservations, and staffing, all sales are considered final. However, we do offer the following cancellation and refund terms:
Event Planning Services (The Social Scene)
    •    Non-Refundable Deposit: All event planning bookings require a non-refundable deposit to secure your date.
    •    Cancellations: If you cancel your event after booking, your deposit will not be refunded. Any additional payments made may be applied as credit toward a future event within 12 months, subject to availability.
    •    Rescheduling: Clients may reschedule their event date once without penalty if notice is given at least 30 days before the scheduled event.
Rental Services (Rent the Scene)
    •    Non-Refundable Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve rental items.
    •    Cancellations: Orders canceled less than 14 days prior to delivery are non-refundable. Orders canceled more than 14 days in advance may receive a credit toward future rentals, valid for 6 months.
    •    Unused Rentals: No refunds are given for items reserved but not used.
    •    Damaged/Missing Items: Replacement or repair costs will be charged for damaged or missing items.
Refund Exceptions
Refunds may only be granted in the event of:
    •    An error on our part (double booking, unavailable inventory after confirmation, etc.).
    •    Delivery of incorrect items that cannot be reasonably substituted on time.
