Welcome to The Social Scene and Rent the Scene. By booking our services or renting our items, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Provided

• The Social Scene offers event planning, design, and coordination services.

• Rent the Scene offers event rental items including furniture, décor, linens, and specialty items.

2. Booking & Payments

• A non-refundable deposit is required to secure all bookings and rental reservations.

• Full payment must be received by the due date specified on your invoice.

• Unpaid balances may result in cancellation of your booking or rental order.

3. Cancellations & Refunds

• Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances.

• Cancellations made after final payment deadlines are not eligible for refunds.

• Please refer to our Refund Policy for complete details.

4. Rentals & Responsibilities

• Clients are responsible for the care of all rental items during the rental period.

• Damaged, lost, or stolen items will be charged at full replacement cost.

• Rentals must be returned on time. Late returns may result in additional fees.

5. Event Changes & Rescheduling

• Clients may request to reschedule an event date one time, subject to availability.

• Additional rescheduling requests may incur fees.

6. Liability

• We are not liable for injury, accidents, or damages that occur during the use of rented items or at events we plan.

• Clients are responsible for ensuring the safety and appropriateness of the event environment.

7. Intellectual Property

• All photos, designs, and creative content produced by The Social Scene or Rent the Scene may be used in our marketing materials and social media unless otherwise agreed in writing.

8. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas (for Texas events) and the State of Illinois (for Illinois events).
